Kind Thoughts: Blog For Your Teams & Leaders
Picture this: a massive global video call with faces from all over the world, everyone logged in for the latest pivot—new reporting lines, yet another tool, and more “future-ready” buzzwords. I ask, “How’s everyone feeling?” and the silence is so heavy it could anchor a ship. Off-camera, I know they’re burned out, overwhelmed, and skeptical that anything they say will matter.
Sound familiar?
In this blog, I share practical, tested strategies to break through the hush, revive your team’s energy, and help them speak up again. From bold questions to celebrating small wins, discover how to turn disengagement into collaboration and find your team’s voice once more. Ready to turn silence into connection? Let’s dive in.
I enjoy setting goals—it’s something we tend to do this time of year. And as we do this, it’s also a perfect time to pause and acknowledge where we as a team are right now. Foundations for thriving teams sounds good in theory, but let’s face it, kicking off as a new team (or having newness reset your team like new members, new direction, etc.) is both exciting and frustrating. A vision, at its simplest, is a picture of where the organization, group or individual needs to be, or where it is going. Really compelling visions, set out what the organization will be able to do, and what opportunities it will be able to take advantage of, after the changes or actions have been achieved.
